This video shows my post production process in photoshop.
This is my first video, I think water and product retouching is hard to find, and I am sure my video will be very interesting for those who do products.
Some time ago I start to record retouching process of almost every image I work on. So more interesting post production videos to come! stay tuned:-)

Very nice work, i like the final result..
Thanks for sharing the work process.
You are welcome, Martin. I am glad you like it:-)
Hi. Great job and nice explanatory video !
I was wondering: what is the mode you use keep shifting to during adjustment (there is an extended sequence at 6’50”). It looks a little like inverted / solarized colors, but it’s neither .. ?
Thanks !
Thank you, Coriolan. You will have the answer in my next post. It’s really good question:-)
Thanks so much for this demo! It’s inspiring to see how creatively you use the Photoshop toolkit. I retouch photos full-time for a studio, but we deal in large quantities of images and I never get to do anything as involved as this. I noticed over and again you seemed to be using a tool that converts the whole image into a rainbow spectrum, presumably so you can see subtle differences in shading. What is that tool called, and how do I access it in Photoshop?
Thanks so much!
Jerrold, here is the answer: http://www.perfectphotoblog.com/using-curves-in-retouching-very-useful-trick/1879/
This is incredible! Thank you so much. I’ve created a few different curve presets for both my work and home computers, and I can’t tell you how much it has helped me. Now I no longer have to worry that I’ve missed blemishes and imperfections that will show up on another person’s monitor.
I recently invested in my first set of Alien Bees and have been exploring product photography at home, in the hopes of supplementing my income and improving my skills as a photographer. Both your blog and Alex’s are inspiring and indispensable. Thanks for sharing your knowledge and experience with those of us who want to learn.
What happened to the video?
Thank you, Ruben. Fixed.
