Eventually we got everyone ready, washed and potty-trained, and Monday was a first day of school for our girls and some sort of beginning of a new life for us:-) Now I will have more time to describe photo-sessions we do and (my favorite:-) to upload more photos including “before and after” on this blog. We’ll be doing our water photography third tutorial, creating photos similar you see below. The lesson will take about an hour, plus some additional time when I can answer your questions. Yesterday I attended RetouchPRO LIVE webinar with Steve Koshlap. Steve is a professional jewelry and beauty retoucher. He demonstrated the diamond and jewelry retouch from start to finish using Photoshop. The information was really useful. Looking forward to see his other webinars. Exactly in this time Alex was shooting a jewelry:-) And now I can use my new knowledge for this retouching. I’ll show you the result in couple months because now it is a confidential information. This is a second episode from our “using water in product photography” series (the first one is here). This time we used a carbonated water, pepper, colored lights and other ingredients:-). Also, one more exciting news for our readers: The next photoshoot of the “water” series we’ll be broadcasting live form our studio! The live stream will be available on Hi-def format (720p), accessible from any browser and even from smartphones: we’ll be using USTREAM service for the broadcast, there is a viewer available for both iPhone and Droid market. Glad to announce that we eventually got time to work on the tutorial/master class of underwater splash product photography shoot. We’ll be doing behind the scene video and a blog post, with all setup explained, including every little tips and tricks we used to get job done. The Lightroom 3 beta program is available to the public, so that means anyone with an Internet connection can download it and start putting it to the test. You do not need to own (or have tried) a previous version of Lightroom. You can download the beta and use it until the product expires.
